Copper compression connectors are produced from high conductivity copper tubing. They are tin-plated to provide corrosion resistance. There are several types which include C-Taps, Peep Hole Lugs, Long Barrel Lugs and Tinned Splices.

Crimp sleeve connectors are a cylindrical, metallic small tube that is open on both ends. Stripped wires are inserted into both ends and then crimped together using a crimping tool to provide a fast connection that won't easily come apart.
Closed end connectors, or nylon connectors, are made from a high temperature, durable Nylon 6/6. Stripped wires are inserted into the open end and then crimped together using a crimping tool.
